About the Treasure Hunt
Google Earth has created a treasure with the help of Dedopulos. They launched the treasure hunt on the 1st of August 2011.
What we have to do about it here at Habs?
Me and couple of friends came and tried to crack the puzzle but we never got very far. We worked very hard to try and get our hands on that €50,000 that’s about £46,377.97.
Has someone won it?
So far many people have claimed to have won it but no one has. So the race is still on!
In the Geography ICT room there are 2 copied of the book for you to have a go yourself. Start with the co-ordinates and see what you can find. It is not just about cracking the puzzle, Dedopulos has picked places around the world that he believes people should have a look at, places that people need to know exist, places that any young Geographer should want to see and then hopefully visit in the future.
